Sunday Sept 23rd the Berks "Ikes" removed 3816 bass  they raised in their  nursery at Egelmans
Dam and stocked  them in Blue Marsh Lake.  The operation began at 6am and ended with all the bass in Blue Marsh Lake at 6pm.   It is hard to believe the magntude of work  performed by a handful of dedicated men and women (I counted 11) until you witness this operation.

Buckets and holding tanks are filled with clean water
Nets are ready.
When the main  lake is drained ,the bass will follow the water flow into this catcher dam. They are netted,  sorted, counted and transported to Blue Marsh. The large Breeders are put back in the  nursery lake to produce next years "Crop"
